Great, we have two dueling egos, trying to be the most progressive leader, and not considering the consequences.  Are they both determined to drive out citizens and businesses for the title of "most progressive leader?"  New York deserves better than Mayor de Blasio and Governor Cuomo's childish pandering to the left.

Today's NY Post editorial agrees with what we stated yesterday, that Mayor de Blasio's reappointment of three judges should concern all New Yorkers.

NYPD Commissioner Bratton let the public know that NYC is in the process of setting up "gun courts."  If what he outlines is all these gun courts will be doing (still not sure where the money is coming from to run them which is food for thought) it appears, on the surface, to be a good idea.  However, if this is tied into President Obama's roll-out of more gun control, we should all be concerned.  Let's be realistic, Mayor de Blasio, Governor Cuomo, President Obama and Hillary all want more restrictions on our 2nd Amendment rights.  (Hopefully, this is just my cynical side showing concern.  If Mayor Bloomberg's "Everytown for Gun Safety" money shows up, it won't just be my cynical side.)

Judge Andrew Napolitano believes that President Obama's executive action on guns is unconstitutional.  Let's hope the NRA and all 2nd Amendment supporters will take him to court over the executive order issued.

John Lott, the renowned expert on gun statistics corrects President Obama's errors in his presentation and has a related column in National Review.

Jacob Sullum opines in the NY Post on the trouble with keeping guns out of the "wrong hands."

The NY Post opines on Bill and Hillary's denial of Bill's dalliances.  (Certainly not the only item Hillary is in denial about.)

A president should offer hope, not fear is the headline in this Quinn Hillyer column and it paraphrases what Ronald Reagan said in his 1992 address at the Republican National Convention.  It ends with "What Reagan said in his first inaugural address should be touted again: We believe America can be great again not because one powerful leader makes the best deals for us, but because “we have every right to dream heroic dreams…. And after all, why shouldn’t we believe that? We are Americans.”  Read the rest of it here.

Wednesday's with Walter E. Williams.  And a bonus Thomas Sowell column, Showman-in-Chief.
