Yesterday the number of states refusing to accept Syrian refugees stood at 13, by the end of the day, today the number is 25.  Chairman Long called on Governor Cuomo to put the safety of New York's citizens first and foremost.  Chairman Long's letter to the Governor is here.  So far silence from Governor Cuomo, whose duty is to keep citizens safe.

Election Day:  VOTE! 

David Masito opines in USA Today on the importance of voting.  All be it, his article may be a little tongue in cheek he does make the point of how important it is to vote.  We will add that it is important to know whom you are voting.  Corruption problems can be curbed if you know whom you are voting for and you demand that term limits are adopted.
